I had the same issue wth (3) Verizon 4G GoCams I bought, today, to replace my Covert Blackhawks. Turns out, I had to have Verizon switch my cellular plan and sign each camera up, for their own Verizon Single Device Data plan, which costs $15 per month (or $10 if you use autopay) and then Verizon hit me with a $30 per camera activation fee. I left Covert because their customer support was horrible and they were overcharging me after reducing monthly rates by half in August of 2017. Now my Spartan GoCams are working fine, only after paying an arm and a leg. I did have a great experience with Spartan neck support and their interface works well. Wish Spartan told me about the 4G camera issues or at least had them in print, as I would have bought every 3G GoCam, I could get my hands on.
