These are workarounds, which I understand people not liking. I wish the videos played sound in the app, but they don't. Here is how you can play videos WITH SOUND on your mobile device:
- Install VLC for Android app.
- Get into VLC.
- Menu > Videos for all videos or
- Menu > Directories > Movies > GoWireless > camera_number for videos from a particular camera
I did not save the videos to my device. They were just downloaded by the app in the usual way. This was done on a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 tablet running Android 6.0.1. I tested it initially on my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 phone then used the tablet for a clean install and test.
(This is a workaround. If you don't like it, don't use it. If you find an easier way, please share it. This is just something I did some quick and dirty testing on this morning and was able to get working without a lot of effort.)
1. Install VLC for Mobile
2. In Spartan Camera app, with video selected, tap the Share button, then scroll through the icons to select Copy to VLC.
3. View the video in VLC.
