Okay so to close this out for everyone. Yes, after I reformatted the flash drive in my Spartan camera I now am able to request HD pictures.
This was a strange of an issue to me because there were pictures on the AWS server, but all were labelled as PICT-001-101-1.jpg and I could not request an HD picture. So here is what I think is happening.
When a flash card is not formatted correctly and a picture is take, the Spartan camera uploads the low resolution picture to the AWS server while at the same time it tries to write to the flash card. Because the flash card isn’t working the HD picture was not saved and thus when you request a high resolution picture no picture is found on the flash card.
So if anyone has pictures appear on the AWS server and they all have been numbered as “PICT-001-101-1.jpg” then you absolutely positively have a flash card that needs to be fully formatted.
I just wanted to put this out there for everyone, and thanks to all who gave me feedback on the problem.
