The camera contacts the server when it sends a picture (either motion-triggered or event) or a scheduled status report.
Why do you need one-minute delay? If you want the pictures to get to you as fast as possible, you can use a 0 second trigger interval. If you’re watching the hogs to see when they are in the trap, that’s what you will want.
Once you’ve closed the trap gate, just turn sensitivity OFF. If you want to monitor the trap, you can do time lapse, maybe every hour?
Do you have a particular time that you remove the hogs from the trap? If so, schedule a status report the hour before, the hour of, and the hour after (or maybe the hour after and two hours after). When you get the hogs out of the trap, turn time lapse off and sensitivity back on. That will happen the next status report, which will probably be okay since I wouldn’t expect another group of hogs to show up right after you leave (but I could be wrong!).
I don’t really know what more help I can give you on the text messages without you asking specific questions. The exact menu choices are listed in the message above. Did you try them? If so, where did you run into problems? Make sure you are logged in to your account.
