I wasn’t saying that the SIMs were bad. Sometimes it takes AT&T a while to activate a SIM after you purchase the plan. If you reread my post, you will see that I referred to an AT&T account issue, not bad SIMs.
You cannot use Verizon SIMs in AT&T cameras. Verizon uses CDMA technology, AT&T uses GSM. If you want to run cameras on the Verizon network, you need Verizon cameras.
Verizon stand-alone plans are more expensive than AT&T plans, but if you already have Verizon cell service for your phone, adding a Verizon camera to your existing plan is inexpensive, $5/month plus taxes and fees.
